One Confused Mamma

Today was Nicole's first day of Pre-School. She was super excited and didn't seem the least bit nervous. I on the other hand.....am not doing too well. After I dropped her off I had to call Greg to keep from crying. Kami and my mom both called to see how she did. How sweet! When I picked her up she said she had a great time. She had orange popsicle all over her mouth and was so proud to present me with her first craft and a piece of chocolate just for me. She called her daddy and told him it was great. You could tell Greg wanted to talk about it and ask all kinds of questions, but she wasn't too interested in chit-chatting about it. I think she is confused why we all think it's a big deal. I am confused because I am so sad to think she is old enough for school and so sad to see her walk away, but happy she is doing so well and happy she is happy for school (and I must say that 2 hours while she was away and Caleb was asleep and my house was completely quiet....it was a little taste of what heaven will be like!!!).

And according to true Nicole form.....sounds like she got in a fight on her first day of preschool. She said something about bothering a girl and the girl throwing sand on her and her throwing it back. She wouldn't tell me the whole story, but when I took her out of the car I noticed sand all over her face and down her back. Here's to hoping she doesn't get kicked out of pre-school like she did nursery! :)

First day of school pictures taken right before we headed off to school.
